Community Action Teams (CAT) - The purpose of CAT is to organize concerned citizens into groups which can assist the police department as eyes and ears in the community they live. The first CAT was formed in 2006 in response to concerns expressed by residents of the Meadowgreen town home complex. I strongly encourage anybody living within the Round Lake Beach who doesn't want to have the 'See nothing, hear nothing, and say nothing' attitude to start showing up at CAT meetings. Round Lake Beach is broken up into areas so you will need to contact the Officer In Charge (OIC) by phone number or by email. Officer G. Vanco is the OIC he can be reached at 847-546-2127 x106 or gvanco@rlbeach.org . If nothing else it is great way to be informed on what's going on in Round Lake Beach.
